How it runs
The engine is Chocolate Doom, compiled to WebAssembly by Cloudflare's doom-wasm with Emscripten. It is free software under the GNU GPL version 2: itssource, thebuild changes made here and thelicence are all available. The game data is id Software's shareware DOOM1.WAD, which the shareware terms let anyone share, unmodified and for free. The full game is still sold by id Software.
