Anime Tracker
A personal tracker for anime series and movies, with a Chrome extension that adds whatever I'm watching in one click.
Series and movies I’ve watched, am watching or plan to watch, with episode progress, ratings and notes, and a link to wherever each one streams. It installs on a phone as a PWA.
What went into it
- Titles come from AniList: search, posters, formats, episode counts and catalogue scores
- A Chrome extension that recognises the page I’m watching on and suggests the title and episode, which I confirm before it’s added
- An email when AniList shows a new episode or a sequel for something I follow
- A Hono API on Cloudflare Workers with D1 and Drizzle, behind Cloudflare Access; the extension pairs with a short-lived code and a revocable token
