Trying out Grok Bot
A dozen agents, one Markdown folder, and a Monday digest that tells me what I've abandoned.

Spent the last two evenings moving my whole AI setup into Grok Bot. Ended up with about a dozen bots.
Initially I was thinking about one bot per project. That lasted about an hour - projects overlap, die, come back, and I was spending more time deciding who owns what than doing anything. So I split by theme instead: knowledge, pet projects, game dev, AI research, and so on. Projects just live inside whichever theme they belong to.
Each bot keeps its own Markdown file in ~/projects-hub, with a ## Slice: section per piece of work. Plain text, greppable, diffable, local.
Every Monday a digest goes through those files and flags anything stale. Which, let’s be honest, is the natural state of most of my pet projects.
Today’s example: one bot did the hardware research for my voice hub, realised it’s a proper long-running thing, and another bot spun up a dedicated DIY bot to own it.
Pretty much the same stuff you’d do with a team: clear ownership, written state, regular review. The team just happens to be agents (and they love standups).
So far so good. The open question is usage - whether Premium is enough for always-on agents. I was at 52%, then connected Cursor, the two plans merged, and now it shows 0%. So technically nothing spent yet? Weird, but I will keep an eye on it.
